How many hours a day should I study for xat?
Three to four focused hours a day beats eight unfocused ones. What matters for xat is that every session ends with questions attempted, not pages read.
When should I start solving xat previous year papers?
As soon as you finish your first subject. Chapter-wise previous year questions from week one, full-length xat papers once roughly 60% of the syllabus is covered.
Is coaching necessary to clear xat?
No. What coaching supplies is structure, correction and pacing. A plan tied to real xat weightage, honest mock analysis and steady revision supplies the same thing.
How many mock tests are enough for xat?
Ten to fifteen full-length mocks, each followed by a repair session on the topics it exposed. An unanalysed mock teaches almost nothing.
What is the biggest mistake xat candidates make?
Re-reading notes instead of recalling from memory, and postponing full-length papers until the last month. Both feel productive and neither moves a score.
How do I revise everything before the xat exam date?
Keep short notes from day one. In the final two weeks you should be reading only short notes and formulas, plus two calm full mocks — no new topics.
